Every adventure has a start, and your little ones are beginning theirs by joining up, ready to meet some new friends and learn new movements! Entering a new sport takes a lot of courage and bravery, so be sure to pat your little one on the back for kicking off their Little Grapplers journey. While learning alongside the many different “animals” of the dojo, they will learn to try new things with a good attitude and eagerness to discover what jiu jitsu is all about! Once they get their footing in class and their skills grow, they will be ready to move UP and join the animal team!
As your little ones are now a brave LION, they will have to continue to show that they are ready to listen and learn no matter what stands in their way.
With a heart full of courage, your little one will now need
to start proving their SELF CONTROL in hopes of levelling
up to the next ANIMAL…the OCTOPUS.
Growing in life and during class is a tough task, so sometimes they will come upon challenges both emotionally and physically. By learning how to be a good sport (nice and kind to partners), a good listener at school (listening to teachers and friends) and being the BEST they can be at home for their families, your little one as a Lion will soon be ready transform into the 8 legged legend!
Remember: Be courageous and try new things!
Way to go! Your little one has swam strong and they have shown that they are ready to take on a new challenge in jiu jitsu.
Now that your little one has done a great job of learning how to better manage their mind and body, they will be searching the seas for the wisdom they need to fly into the next level! Your little one will need to dive into class looking to always being doing what’s right and make good decisions wherever they go. They will need to use ALL their limbs of learning to be kind and helpful to their fellow animals, helping them to make good choices too!
Through taming the tentacles of this level, your little one will glide into the role of the OWL!
Remember: Hold on tight to your values and self worth!
Your little one has now swooped into the role of the Wise Owl! With 3 belts already flown by, they will now be looking to fly high and be a LEADER in class! They will now have the COURAGE, SELF CONTROL and WISDOM to share and show to their friends on the mat (and at home too!)
While soaring throughout this level, your little one will be in charge of becoming a good example of what a true friend and leader is. By showing their wisdom through leading, they will have sharpened their skills that will fly them into the FINAL level in Little Grapplers, the Panda!

Congratulations! Your little one has made it to the final quest of becoming a furiously friendly leader, the Panda!
They have earned their spot in this last level of their Little Grapplers journey and now it is their time to shine ALL the values that they have mastered! Your little one must remember to continue to be humble and curious because their duty as a leader is to also continue working on all the jiu jitsu moves and values they know.
Your little one will be asked to help guide others along their voyage as well as pawing proudly through theirs.
Remember: Being a good friend is the path to being a pawesome leader!
